Natalie was referred to us as she had been through a really tough time. She lost her brother which had obviously affected her and had other issues too including having to go and live with her gran and her dad getting ill. She was a great support to mum and dad whilst her brother was ill and was very much a shoulder to lean on for them. We were told: ‘She never complains and just gets on with things’. Natalie asked if she could have a makeover and photoshoot.
We contacted the ArtzCentre in Skelmersdale who were delighted to be asked to help. Prior to the photoshoot, we sent Natalie some Primark vouchers so she could buy some outfits for her special day.
On ‘Smile Day’ – Natalie and mum went to the ArtzCentre directly from school with Natalie in her school uniform. Both ladies were whisked off in a chauffeur driven Mercedes to the beauty salon, Macy’s. Our ‘smile’ girl had her hair and makeup done transforming her from schoolgirl too stunner. Back to the ArtzCentre for an afternoon tea. After that – the shoot began. A week or so later Natalie received her fantastic album. She looked spectacular.

Natalie told us:
My thoughts on the photoshoot and makeover that Miles of smiles gave me was an amazing experience! I can’t thank her enough for what she gave me because it put a really big smile on my face. The team at Macy’s hairdressers did a wonderful job of my hair and makeup also the photographer was very kind and we all had a laugh. Tell Karen to keep what she’s doing because she is such a lovely lady and she puts a smile on everyone’s face.
